All funds raised from this year’s event and subsequent events will go towards supporting the formation of the Unity Community Resource Center in Central Indiana – a fully funded and fully staffed community resource center to serve the needs of the growing Haitian population in Indiana and throughout the Midwest.

Our sincerest appreciation and gratitude to everyone who have supported the Haitian Association of Indiana since its formation in 2008. For 15 years, our pioneers and contributing members have seen the Haitian Community in Indiana grow from a few hundred Haitians to a blossoming community of more than 20,000 Haitians. The unprecedented growth of the Haitian community in the last 5 years has also been extended to our Midwest neighbors Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, and Michigan. The Growth presents both a unique and welcoming challenge for the Haitian Association of Indiana to find concrete solutions that meet the socio-economic needs of our people. The Unity Community Resource Center in Central Indiana will serve as a permanent home and safe place in the heart of the Midwest where Haitians can call home.
